Beyonce & Shakira Look Alike

I would say that Beyonce and Shakira do look alike in their video “Beautiful Liar”.  For most of the video, I wasn’t quite sure who was who.  I was also impressed with Beyonce’s version of Shakira’s signature moves. 

 Apparently, Beyonce thought the exact same thing. 

“For the video, they put us in a room together for about two hours and we just came up with the choreography and played off the fact we look similar,” B yapped. “It was really cool because I don’t even know who is who sometimes - even I get confused!”

 I have been reading what people are writing about this video and Beyonce’s comments and boy are they harsh.  It’s a video.  If they had a good time making it, then so be it.  If they look alike and shake alike, then so be it.  It could be worse.  They could be entering rehab like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and the many others.  But instead, they are making a fun video.  hmmmm…

Old Shakira Music

I really loved Shakira’s CD, “Laundry Service”.  Almost all of the songs on that CD are really good.  As a matter of fact, I just loaded the entire album to my MP3 the other day.  I wish she would produce a CD like that again.  The song ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ was good but so overplayed that I didn’t have any desire to listen to any of the other songs on the CD.  I take that back, the song ‘Don’t Bother’ isn’t bad but I wish she would come out with another CD like “Laundry Service”. 

Shakira taught Beyonce Belly Dancing

Beyonce told PEOPLE magazine: “Shakira taught me how to belly dance, she taught me the whole routine. I used to watch her videos and I thought she was so cool. When she was teaching me the moves I thought, ‘This is crazy, Shakira is showing me how to belly dance!’

“I got the best teacher. We didn’t have a lot of time to come up with the choreography - most of it was done on the spot. I was just watching her and learning from her. It was so much fun, the best energy. She was really easy to work with, so sweet and humble.”

 

Victoria Beckham and Katie Design for Children

It seems that the two famous women have raised their maternal instincts to a creative level. Let’s hope they are more successful than J. Lo.Famous mothers Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes have decided to unite their love for children and fashion by designing children’s clothes.

They arrived at the idea for this business endeavour by chance. Katie recently drew some sketches of children’s dresses for her daughter’s birthday and showed them to Victoria who saw an opportunity for business.

We do not doubt that these two mothers, with a developed sense for fashion, will succeed in this area of business too.
