It was a happy second wedding anniversary for Christina Aguilera and her music producer husband Jordan Bratman. The couple got dressed up for a stylish dinner outing at Amalfi, taking advantage of the last year in which they don’t have to set up babysitter arrangements.

Christina and Jordan are expecting their first child together in early 2008, and have been busy going through the motions leading up to their baby’s arrival. Just this past weekend, Christina Milian, who attended Aguilera’s baby shower, told press: “Her son is going to be pretty lucky because his mom … she’s just awesome. She is going to be a cool mom.”

Cool, indeed!

The audience of MTV’s 20th annual Video Music Awards in 2003 knew they were in for something a little bit different in the opening act, but few were prepared for what they saw. Spears and Christina opened the VMA show dressed like brides singing Madonna’s classic hit Like a Virgin, before the Material Girl stepped out of a wedding cake wearing a modified tuxedo. Break out the blue! Christina Milian confirmed to Usmagazine.com that her pal Christina Aguilera is having a boy.

“Her son is going to be pretty lucky because his mom … she’s just awesome!” Milian, 26, told Us at the Seventeen Jewelry launch at Ketchup restaurant in L.A. Thursday. “She is going to be a cool mom.”

Milian attended Aguilera’s blue-themed carnival-themed baby shower at Aguilera’s Beverly Hills home November 10.

“I had a lot of fun!” Milian told Us. “I got her a bunch of baby bath stuff: a whole little bathrobe and everything.”

Aguilera, 26, is about seven months pregnant.

She officially confirmed her pregnancy in January’s Glamour, saying she is ready to “enter into mommyhood” around the new year. She said her husband of two years, Jordan Bratman, is “thrilled!

“He’s so supportive and amazing through everything … I’m a lucky girl.”
