Papa wants Britney to ditch her singing career

Daddy Jamie Spears wants Britney to give up her singing to become a full-fledged sitcom actress.

A source revealed, “Britney did a great job on How I Met Your Mother. She got the show its highest ratings yet, but more importantly for Jamie, he wants his daughter at a normal 9-to-5 job to keep her working and out of trouble.”

“A sitcom would do that. So he’s exploring several offers for Britney to have her own show.”

Meanwhile Britney is also approached by 30 Rock for a cameo.

Tina Fey of 30 Rock said, “We would love to work with Britney. I’ve worked with her twice on Saturday Night Live and she was very professional and nice.”

Spears cameo in How I Met Your Mother brought her back into limelight. Where her appearance fetched the show its highest rating ever.

Well if Spears switches to TV, then we might call her troubled sitcom princess instead of pop princess.
