Paris reacts to John McCain Commercial
I have been avoiding posting about this, but since Paris’ rep has issued a statement, I thought it was worth a mention, so that people know that Paris did not give permission for her name/image to be used in the commercial. Her rep had the following to say:

Yep, taking her ingenuity and glamour to the extreme, Paris launches her Fall Shoe Collection at Macy’s Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas yesterday.
Showcasing a wide range of stylish and fabulous footwear in very affordable prices, Paris proves that anybody can be Cinderella in a more glamorous way.
She says, “Whether you pair some T-strap heels with a beautiful dress or rock your favorite skinny jeans tucked into a pair of my knee-high or cowboy-inspired boots, there is really something for everyone. I personally chose the styling, design, materials and colors for the entire line and also wanted to make sure it was super comfortable. Each shoe has a heart-shaped comfort pad sewn into the inner sole, so you can dance and party all night long! I also made the soles of the shoes hot pink so from every angle, they are super cute!”

Paris shows action speaks louder than words
Action sure speaks louder than words. And so to show that she is indeed so in-love with her boyfriend that she won’t look at other guys, Paris Hilton recently went out in public hand-in-hand with Benji Madden.
If we may recall, our dear heiress has just dismissed rumors that she threw herself over soccer superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo (only to get rejected). Paris called Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show last week to clear those false reports stressing, “I’m so in love with my boyfriend I don’t even look at other guys.”
Paris, who just came from San Diego: Comic-Con returns to L.A. for Benjie. The two spent some quality time together shopping at Fred Segal store.

How’s this for a birthday present? As Macy’s prepares to celebrate 150 years of retailing this October, Christina Aguilera is helping mark the occasion by lending her beautiful self to a series of commemorative photos.
The announcement of the Grammy winner’s involvement comes on the heels of Jessica Simpson’s just-shot holiday TV ad campaign for the famed department store. While we have yet to see what Jess will bring to the Macy’s table, we’re pretty much in awe of what Christina has already contributed.
Seriously, if there are any plans to have a cake as part of the birthday celebration, we vote to have her jump out of it.
