Cameron to star in ?My Sister?s Keeper?

Wow! Cameron has a busy schedule in front of her, with several new roles. Yesterday it was announced by Variety.com that she will star in My Sister’s Keeper. Here’s what the article said. Personally I can’t wait to see Cameron in all these new movies!

Cameron Diaz will star in “My Sister’s Keeper”, a Nick Cassavetes-directed adaptation of the Jodi Picoult novel for New Line Cinema. Shooting will begin early next year.

The drama was scripted by Jeremy Leven and will be produced by Mark Johnson, both of whom made “The Notebook” with Cassavetes for New Line.

Diaz had been circling the film for weeks, but negotiations have heated up and a deal should be completed shortly.

Thesp will play a former defense attorney who returns to the courtroom to defend herself and her husband when they are sued by their 13-year-old daughter for emancipation. The girl was conceived as a genetic match with the hope she could prolong her cancer-ridden sister’s life.

It was first a guy quite a few years lesser than her, and now it is someone who is already married. Yep! That’s what Cameron Diaz is doing. Though Justin Timberlake realized that she is too big for him, Criss Angel, the magician couldn’t understand what she was gonna do to his personal life.In the end, it was his wife, Joanne Sarantakos, who has dragged this guy to the Courts under charges of Adultery. And guess who’s named in it - the one and only Cameron Diaz.

Criss Angel, who is said to have a ‘wonderful time’ with Cameron Diaz, slammed the media.He says, ” No, we’re just friends. Seriously, do you think Cameron Diaz, one of the most beautiful women in the world and all of Hollywood, would have any interest in me?” he had said talking to a popular website.

Well…who knows… if someone as rough as Justin Timberlake can cast his spell on her…why not a smooth looking magician?

MTV doesnt want a Diaz-Biel catfight!

MTV is trying hard to keep apart Cameron Diaz and Jessica Biel (Justin Timberlake’s ex-girlfriend and present girlfriend that is).

Both are presenting awards and Justin Timberlake - Diaz’s ex who is now dating Biel - has been nominated for Best Breakthrough Performance for his movie Alpha Dog.

Organisers are worried the two women could become confrontational if their paths cross.

An insider told the New York Post newspaper: “Everyone is determined to keep Cameron and Jessica far apart. It’s becoming a big deal because the girls both want separate arrival times.

“Nobody knows who Cameron is going to bring, if anyone. But if Jessica walks in with Justin, Cameron will want to bring a date. If Jessica goes alone, Cameron will probably walk alone. It’s a mess.”

Diaz lost her temper at Prince’s Golden Globes after-party in January and had a furious row with Justin after she saw him canoodling with Jessica shortly after their split.

The source added: “Cameron is used to being more high-profile than Jessica. But now that Jessica’s dating Justin, she has more leverage. Cameron’s looking a little unstable lately.”

Hugh Grant desperate for Cameron Diaz and Meg Ryan

Hugh Grant desperately wants to work with Cameron Diaz and Meg Ryan, for they are among the few leading ladies he hasn’t yet shared screen space with.

The actor, who has starred opposite some of Hollywood’s biggest female stars like Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock and Drew Barrymore, insists that there are still a few very talented actresses that he would love to work with.

“I sometimes think I’ve worked with all the film actresses there are out there, but there are still a couple whom I’d like to work with if I could,” Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

“I’ve always loved Meg Ryan. And I very much admire Cameron Diaz. I’d love to work with either of them,” he added.

Grant, who has hits like ‘Notting Hill’, ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’, ‘Nine Months’ and ‘Love Actually’ under his belt, was most recently seen on the big screen opposite Drew Barrymore in the romantic comedy ‘Music and Lyrics’.
