Scarlett Johansson in Brilliance

Scarlett Johansson has a new project in hand – Brilliance.

This is not just one but she already has 30 movies to her credit and Brilliance will add another one.

Her Director Samuel Bayer is in all praise for her, he says that he chose Scarlett for her sex appeal and talent.
Bayer tells MTV: “Scarlett is one of the sexiest actresses around… she can just become her characters. Look at what she did during the Corvette scene, which a lot of people won’t catch.

The shoot is scheduled to start this winter and is set for a late 2008 and will be ready for a release by early 2009.

It’s a golden opportunity for Scarlett and she has to prove herself this time.

Scarlett Johansson Denies Rumors of Dating Richard Archer

Scarlett has made it very clear that she is not dating Richard.

She said that there is no romance going on between them, she also said that she has not even heard of him nor met him until all the rumors started.
The British tabloids have labeled him a liar after listening to what Scarlett said.
It was reported that they had started dating each other when Scarlett was filming for Woody Allen movie Scoop in London.
One newspaper has said that it was Richard himself who started the rumors. But Richard has a different story, he said that it was a lie and the newspapers were lying.

Scarlett in Barcelona, Day 5

Now that the shooting has begun we are slowly finding out who are the other actors involved in Woody Allen’s film project, working title “Midnight in Barcelona.”

How can I forget Patricia Clarkson, who has been seen with Scarlett on the shooting yesterday, a fine actress whose talents is so immense. Aside from Ms. Clarkson, Rebecca Hall, Kevin Dunn, Pablo Schreiber (Liev’s brother), Carrie Preston, Chris Messina and Abel Folk will keep Scarlett, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem’s company.

Anyway, I found the timetable (complete with the fan’s comments) of the shooting, courtesy of a curious cineaste. (I assumed the film enthusiast is a he.) In his diary, he found himself entranced with Scarlett and quite understood why Woody is so fascinated with the actress.

Then I saw Scarlett Johansson for the third time in my life. In less than a week. Her hair is blonde and quite impressive. What a feeling to see her so close going inside a black van. She looks so wonderful. I understand Woody Allen wants her to be her muse.

He also mentioned that Woody Allen is without a star attitude. The director didn’t mind fetching his own food from the catering vehicle.

No doubt the government of Barcelona is grateful of Woody Allen and Co.’s presence. How about the average citizens? Are they happy that Hollywood is raging their city, which now slowly loses its tradition of practicing siesta because of globalisation?

Hollywood glamour vs. art

Unlike her contemporaries in Hollywood, she really seems to enjoy what she is doing: being an actress and working hard to stay on top either choosing projects that close to her heart (arty) or films that will just pay her bills (commercial). This what separates Scarlett from other young celebrities in Hollywood.

The only time we get to hear bad press concerning Scarlett is when she changed her style like what did before she flew to Spain making her nose ring visible and a fake tattoo to scare the masses or her admirers.

We don’t hear that she’s a contender to rehab, drown herself in alcohol or take drugs in public, or never let others peep into her privacy. It is as if she only wants you to remember her films.

If she is caught in plain casual clothes, we are almost sure she is only acting. Anyway, what’s wrong with “ditching glamorous good looks“?

Scarlett’s Spanish movie

Like what we have gathered this week, Scarlett has flown to Spain to star in the new Woody Allen’s said to be “love letter” to the European country. If you were in Barcelona right now, you might have a chance to see the actress and the A-list director working on their new project.

Scarlett is Woody’s current flavour of the month. She was in his former films “Scoop” and “Matchpoint.” In the Spanish project, she plays as a tourist in Spain. Hence, images of her holding a camera. Would that be a real working (digital) camera????

According to the news, the shooting will take seven weeks. Aside from Barcelona, other locations will be a one-week stay in the northern Spanish region of Asturias and one day in New York.

Barcelona would be the second European city to feature in a full-length Allen movie.

Harry Potter likes Scarlett

Daniel Radcliffe, better known as Harry Potter and everyone’s favourite teenager, cited Aishwarya Rai, Christina Ricci, Cameron Diaz, Scarlett and Ben Stiller as his favourite actors. Aside from adoring his idols, he didn’t like the Harry Potter books when he first read them. He also plays the bass guitar. Actor Gary Oldman taught him how to do it. And he is one of Britain’s richest teenager with an astonishing 23 million pounds as a fortune. Most of all, he doesn’t read himself on the gossips rags.
I am pretty sure Scarlett would be flattered.

Scarlett is in Spain

Scarlett has arrived in Barcelona, Spain.

According to Scarlett Fan, the actress might have flown to the Spanish city apparently on July 2 right after she was photographed in New York.

Remember those pictures in which she sported a golden nose ring and a coloured tattoo? Her styling clearly made a fuss. Some called it “radical” others hideous or awful.

Curiously speaking, Scarlett doesn’t look like wearing a septum ring on the Barcelona pics. But a few fans from The Skinny website attested that the actress has it for years. And in order for the piercing doesn’t close up she usually wears a clear ring. The reason we don’t see it now. Maybe.

Wearing an A-line light brown summer dress with floral prints, she said to have visited Barcelona’s cultural offerings. Scarlett must be very eager to start the film project. Variety reported that there is no name for Woody Allen’s film yet. Typically Spanish.com recently revealed that it is titled “Midnight in Barcelona.”

World?s sexiest body sporting a Plump Exterior.

Scarlett Johansson who was titled as having The Sexiest Body was sported flashing her thunder thighs recently.

When questioned about this aspect she stated ‘There’s a weight I like to maintain which is slim but healthy. I am far too paranoid about my own health to take the road of eating disorders.’

Scarlett’s film with Woody

TypicallySpanish.com reported that there is already a name for the director’s impending project. Dubbed “Midnight in Barcelona,” Woody would like to present the Spanish city in his eyes.

According to the site, he only spoke for five minutes in the gardens of a Barcelona hotel. It also said that the director attempted to learn Spanish but he learned nothing as he wasn’t paying attention at all. Therefore it will be a “grand challenge” for him to do the film in a country whose mother tongue isn’t English.

Filming will take seven weeks, in Barcelona, Oviedo and New York and the project has a budget of 12 million €.

Meanwhile Worth1000 via Cityrag presented a Photoshopped work featuring Scarlett with Elvis Presley under its rubric “Impossible Celebrity Couples.” Well, I am not sure if Elvis would have gone to film with the actress. Probably, he would. And the actress, she would perhaps be thrilled.

Aside from Elvis-Scarlett pairing, there’s also the young Bette Davis and George Clooney and Jude Law with Jean Simmons. Check it out.

Could Scarlet be a drama queen?

Scarlett’s former “Match Point” costar Jonathan Rhys Meyers revealed to OK magazine that he would never date an actress. He was romantically linked to Scarlett, aside from her was said to have romanced Toni Collette and Rachel Leigh Cook.

The handsome Irish actor avoids dating Hollywood stars because they are all “drama queens.”

“I’m not intimidated by tough women, I’m attracted to them. I wouldn’t date an actress. Too difficult and too competitive. I’m the only actress in my life! They are all drama queens. Let me say, from someone who is a drama queen, they all are. Actors all have different personalities, but they’re all just f***ing actors! I’ve never really made friends with any actors because they are bitter twisted creatures - including me.”

Scarlett tries new styling

It is true that tabloid writers are known to exaggerate their stories. They also like to attack actresses who suddenly have gained weight and tend to moralise their stories when they drop down their sizes to 0. It is no-win situation.

So it isn’t surprising at all when Daily Mail wrote “She also appeared unconcerned about revealing a fair expanse of shapely thigh.”

The new Scarlett has been spotted walking around Manhattan sporting a septum ring and a tattoo on her arm. Fake or not, it sends everyone into a frenzy. Hollywood Tuna is so turned off it fears Scarlett wouldn’t top anymore “Sexiest Celeb” list. They are assuming that the 22-year-old is rebelling. Is she?

Scarlett to star in Woody Allen’s movie.

Scarlett Johansson will be soon starring in Woody Allen’s movie and hopes to present the northeastern Spanish city of Barcelona in a similar way he presented “Manhattan”.

Oscar winning actor-director Allen said he wanted to picture Barcelona “the same way I presented Manhattan to the world through my eyes.

He is excited about working in Barcelona. Well let’s hope that Scarlett too shares in his enthusiasm.

I am not really wishing that Josh Hartnett and Scarlett would get back together. The past is always the past. It is only up to the protagonists if they want to flip back again their lost chapter. Whatever floats their boat.

Indeed it was their career that brought them together and it was also their career that kept them apart.

Digging YouTube, I found this one-year-old clip interview wherein Scarlett talked about working with Josh. She said that she liked working with him as he is talented, intense and a powerful young actor. Scarlett played Kay who was stuck between the characters of Aaron Eckhart and Josh. Meanwhile, Josh admitted that it was fun working with her and that it was lighter when doing the scenes.

It was on the set of “Black Dahlia” where the two young actors fell in love. Lately, he’s been romantically linked to Spanish star Penelope Cruz, who will be Scarlett’s costar in Woody Allen’s Spanish Project.

As you all know Scarlett will be the face again of the Louis Vuitton this coming autumn wherein the actress already shot photos for the new advert campaign.

She admits that like the rest of women, shopping makes her go and confesses that apart from snapping for vintage she passionately loves luxury labels.
